For which is easier, to say, `Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, `Rise and walk’?

This last weekend, I was invited by Zack and Mike to pray for Mike Fields, who is a dear friend of Christ Life, and his mother Patricia who suffered a stroke just before Christmas. I tend to hesitate changing weekend plans the night before, especially when invited to something I had never done before: visit a family I had never met and pray for healing in the wake of trauma. Nevertheless, trusting in the Holy Spirit, I agreed, and was led to one of the most peaceful and blessed experiences in my life. Continue reading



“He comes.”  Many of us went to Columbia Mall and Arundel Mills to share the presence of Jesus Christ with people during Advent.  Advent comes from the Latin meaning “arrival” or “coming”.  It is the Latin translation of the Greek “parousia” meaning “presence”, and as such, it was very appropriate to bring Christ’s presence into the world during Advent.
